Long Duration Mission Behavioral Health And Performance...

A well written and effective research paper has to follow the IMRAD structure. This means it should have an introduction, methods section, results section, and discussion. The article â€Å"An Operation Approach to Long-Duration Mission Behavioral Health and Performance Factors† written by Christopher F. Flynn is a good example of a well written research paper. This paper is about the psychological effects of astronauts being in space for a long period of time. This paper is an effective research paper because of the fact that it follows the IMRAD structure. It also is effective because the author establishes credibility by using research from other former researchers. Most scholarly research papers have more than one author. This scholarly research paper only has one. It does not state to which degree of experience the author is though. There is a very specialized audience for this research paper. The audience is more for those who study psychology and those who specialize in aerospace and picking the people to go to space. I would think that those who are thinking of becoming an astronaut would read this research paper as well to get a feel for what they could experience while in space. The audience would also seem to be more of researchers rather than any other type of experts.
